New Years Eve at Sacred Thread - Yoga and Soundbath

One of the deepest learnings we may make as yoga students is to understand and begin to connect to the Koshas. These sheaths are layers of being, ways that we exist in the world - body, energy, mind, wisdom, and connection to purpose (or bliss). For so many of us we move from two or three of these sheaths most of the time. But yoga brings union and allows us the possibility to tap into all five even if just for a brief moment. You can literally FEEL how integrated we become at the end of a really powerful yoga practice.
When we tap into the 4th or 5th sheath our decisions, our movements, our existence brings peace. Everything then lines up for us.
On New Year's Eve we will create THIS type of alignment. We will work to access integration between all five koshas, moving beyond the desires of the body or the knowledge of habit or limitations of judgement that come from the mind.
Join us for this 108-minute practice that moves with a solid vinyasa flow into deep holds to align the body & energy. The practice will include time to journal and a deep-30 minute soundbath. From there we will move into sensory withdraw and identify an intention that we can amplify during a 20-minute nidra. Finally we'll ring in the new year together with a meaning full intention for all beings in 2019 and pop the cap of a sparkly kombucha for a New Year's toast!
This is a great way to celebrate the possibility of a New Year AND set an intention for yourself and our community. This immersion is suitable for an All-Level Yogi. Grab your loved ones, your out-of-town guest, your sober BFF, your partner, or come SOLO. Remember Community is all you need!
