The rhythm in these tracks serves as a guide for the inhale/exhale rhythm, which the meditator can adjust according to comfort level. Studies show that slowed breath practices may have many benefits including reducing anxiety and depression. Studies have also shown that breath practices may lead to reduction in blood pressure, increased HRV (heart rate variability), improved vagal tone, and overall improvements in nervous system function.
