Everything that comes also goes.
Thoughts come and go.
Possessions come and go.
Desires come and go.
Even personality goes thru changes, and yet there is a part of you that has never changed. There is the unchanging part of you. Focus on that.
Focus not on the changing thoughts, but the breath. Put your attention there..breathing in... breathing out.. During all of these changes, the breath has been your ceaseless companion. Who is it that focuses?
So, are the thoughts that arise in your mind just a sort of resistance to being in the present moment? Do these thoughts need the "future" and the "past" in order to exist? Are they just storehouses in some corner of the mind, for unresolved issues, or unmet needs? ...."I will confront that problem someday.. or I will apologize for that wrong from the past."Someday I will have what I need".
Release your resistance. Do not strive, or try..
Beyond the identity that fuels this resistance is.. is I AM.
Find the flow. Tune in again..
Do not waste your time, looking for something better here or there.
Desire is resistance to the present moment. The fuel of desire is a sense of lack, deficiency.
Being present right here and now is the only place Love can be...and it's truly the only place you CAN ever BE.
Invest your attention in this moment NOW, and what your Heart truly desires will be yours.
Just a personal note: There is nothing new under the sun. I am just attempting to present info. here that has helped me. I hope to present it in a clear way based on my experience with anxiety which was a spiritual, psychological and emotional awakening for me. In retrospect of this experience I have been reading as much as I could to come to a deeper and more grounded understanding of this seemingly mystical thing that happened to me (so that I could share it with you). I'm not a doctor or a scientist. Please know this is only my experience. Yours will obviously be different, but since my experience was so similar to others I've talked to, I am hoping this may be helpful or useful to you in some way. It's also a way that I hope to share the love with you. That is my purpose here.
